The broth was good but they do make you pay an extra $16 for it in addition to the AYCE $30 price. I enjoyed the variety of meats and vegetables they had, and they also had appetizers and desserts as well next to the sauce bar. The service was AMAZING but sometimes we'd order stuff on the iPad and it wouldn't show up at the table. Not a big deal since it's AYCE but something worth noting if you're waiting for a specific item to show up. Would visit again but make sure to go earlier since there will likely be a wait! I went at 6:30 and there was no line, but by the time we left there were 20 parties waiting.

My go to AYCE hotpot. Mainly because of their beef selection. Most places have very chewy beef. But no matter when I come here their fatty beef and other beef selection just soft or melts in your mouth. They have a small selection of cooked foods. Some fried appetizers. I pick on the fried pork with spices and the fried montau with condensed milk is to die for! I always order them fresh vs getting it from the buffet line. Service is always attentive and staff is really nice! They have this thinly sliced cold organ dish that is just marinated to perfection! I couldn't stop eating it. I usually get the tomato soup base along with something else each time so it goes in rotation.

Service very good and hotpot are testy will come back again try the all you can eat buffet

The best Chinese MaLa buffet in Queens! I've been here multiple times over the years, and every time I'm in NYC, I make sure to stop by. Every item is unique and packed with flavor! The last time I went during happy hour, it was only $30 per person--and that included not just meat and hot pot ingredients, but also appetizers and ice cream! I'm obsessed with the sesame balls they were amazing! And the Sichuan MaLa soup is a definite must-try. Highly recommend this spot!

4.5 stars Nice all you can eat hotpot place with decent prices and good options. It's about $35 per person on the weekend plus the soup base price (about $16). It includes a small appetizers bar, sauce bar, some fruits, and free drinks (iced tea and juices). The passion fruit juice was really good. We had the split pot with tom yum soup and spicy lamb spine. Both are a bit spicy. The tom yum is sour. I prefer the lamb spine. They have a variety of options from meats to seafood to veggies and noodles. There are some that are a la carte. Ordering was easy since it was from a tablet and they were pretty quick.

Expeditious delivery once items were ordered to the table. The seafood and beef selections were good, with the shrimp, mussels, and crabs being sizable. The pig brain was unusual but not terrible. The pre-cooked items were tasty, including the pig ear, but perhaps could've offered more variety of items.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 7 Decor: 6 Value: 9 Overall: 8 This AYCE hot pot franchise has been consistently good over the years. I have been here many times and generally happy with the food and service. Obviously, the quality may not match Haidilao or Chongqing Lao Zhao, but the price is nearly half for as much as you can eat. If your preference is not fresh seafood or high end quality meats, then you really can't go wrong with this veteran hot pot restaurant. You see many hot pot restaurants in Flushing come and go, but this place still stays busy on most nights. As for hot pot broths, I have tried nearly everything. My favorites include their signature spicy, the golden chicken w/ fish maw, the sour duck & radish, and the peppery chicken w/ pig stomach soup bases. Spicy lamb spine and mushroom broths are good too. For must order items, get the lamb slices, six second tofu rolls, napa cabbage, bok choy, shrimp paste, basa fish slices, tofu skin sheets, shiitake mushrooms, quail eggs, and SPAM (yeah, trust me). Btw, don't fill up on appetizers, but their marinated pig ears are surprisingly good. Then, after your hot pot meal, come back to the same counter and get some fruits and desserts, or ask the waiter for some Hersey's ice cream cup. Honestly, it's not the best hot pot in Flushing, but for less than $50 after taxes and tip, this is quite a good deal.

First time going to liuyishou and was satisfied with their quality of beef. The service is quick and convenient where you order everything through an iPad. Quickly came the food stacked right in front of us. The only negative is that there's not much veggies option - wished they had watercress but probably with the rise in price of it, it is more expensive. There's a small hot food and drink section. The soup base is an additional charge - we ordered the white pepper pork (can be skipped) and the coconut chicken (30 mins to cook but worth the wait). The combo is like a sweet and salty duo broth. Seating is comfortable and can fit quite a few tables. Seafood was frozen - skip the snow crab as it really doesn't have much flavor from being frozen.

I came here with a friend on a rainy and cold Wednesday evening. The allures of AYCE hotpot was definitely very appealing given the circumstances. I've been to a Liuyishou branch many years ago in Boston and have had a great experience, so was definitely looking forward to the AYCE experience. There is a set AYCE price per person. You also do have to pay for the broth as well. Once you get past that, the options for the amount of food is amazing. Theres also a sauce station and area for other small fried appetizers and desserts. There's also a juice station should you want that. There is a 90 minute limit, but that's more than enough time as the food comes very quickly. Overall would come back! Love the food and space. I do hear it is often very busy here, so I'm glad we came on a weeknight

While I'm not afraid to admit that Liuyishou is one of my favorite hot pot chains, I can also admit that I'm impressed with how far along this Flushing location has come along. There was a period just before and during the pandemic that this place fell on hard times with service and execution. They've managed to solve a lot of these issues it seems and I couldn't be a happier diner. The space isn't conducive for ultra large groups, so stick to groups of 4 and less. Since the interior is ultra tight, it means the waits can get ultra long during their popular times. I wouldn't encourage calling in, but might be worth it to gauge the wait time. Just know that Mandarin Chinese is close to essential here. The sweet spot for most folks is a combination of good value and high quality. They have managed to do well on both here. The initial price feels a tinge steep but the food is quality enough that unlimited portions feels justified. It goes without saying, the food presentation is always a highlight. Their awesome displays of meat and the soup base bear make every service moment one worth capturing. I truly love all of their broths. The Lin's House Special has premium beef tallow and the Golden Chicken is fragrant and pungent. I think some folks would benefit from the Duck w/Chinese Pickled Radish base since it's poppin with flavor. The basic options of tom yum, tomato, and pork bone broth are also available as well. Throw in a few orders of their sliced marbled beef, wagyu, NZ lamb, and angus beef slices with some random dumplings and that's hot pot heaven for me. I have enjoyed their other pork belly, chicken breast, and other more nuanced parts. The other meat offerings such as shrimp paste, fish balls, pollack balls with roe, beef balls are also quite excellent. Another impressive feat? Becoming one of the more popular spots in spite of the competition, which includes HDL, which is essentially across the street. LYS might take the cake for the more intimate and ultimately, gluttonous experience. My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/liuyishou-hotpot-flushing?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ
